WINE ENTHUSIAST AWARDED BROGLIA

The well-known Piedmontese winery has received an excellent score for one of its wines.

The prestigious magazine Wine Enthusiast has given an excellent score to a wine from the Piedmontese winery Broglia: 91 points to Bruno Broglia Gavi Vecchia Annata 2010.

Produced only when the seasonal quality of the fruit reaches the peak of excellence, Gavi Vecchia Annata is a great white wine, made by vinifying the grapes harvested in the estate’s oldest vineyards. Characterized by a consistent and savoury taste and supported by deep and bewitching scents, it rests on the lees in steel for 85 months. It is a Gavi that you would never expect, chiselled in all its smallest nuances.

This wine has an intense straw yellow colour and a complex and rich bouquet. At the beginning it is deeply fruity, then it is enriched by mineral and sulphurous hints, as well as references to yeasts and pastries. The taste is soft and well-balanced, consistent with the nose and long lasting.
