VINI BUONI D’ITALIA HAS AWARDED VILLA RAIANO

The Campania winery has received an excellent recognition for one of its wines.

The famous guide Vini Buoni d’Italia awarded one of the iconic wines of the Campania winery, Villa Raiano: the 2018 vintage of Fiano di Avellino Alimata received the golden star.

Alimata of Villa Raiano is a Fiano di Avellino that comes from vineyards located in the province of the same name, about 350 meters above sea level. The terroir is characterized by a clayey and marly subsoil, with a good presence of skeleton. The vinification is rather simple, carried out exclusively in steel, but developed over a long time, in order to increase the aromatic heritage offered to the nose and the structure that is found in the mouth. The bunches are softly pressed and the must obtained undergoes a static decantation. This is followed by fermentation and aging in steel for 12 months in steel; then further matured in glass for another 14 months.

This wine has a bright straw yellow color, with a particular luster. On the nose there are fruity and floral scents; on the palate it is full-bodied, with a round and enveloping sip that asserts itself thanks to a fresh and savory vein. A label that asserts itself with a rich and generous personality, ideal for learning about the potential of a denomination capable of expressing itself with even complex nuances.
