The harvest of Tenuta San Leonardo began on the 19th of September with the Merlot, followed by the Cabernet Sauvignon and finally the Carmenere in mid-October. The forecasts are excellent in terms of quality while on a quantitative level there is a rather significant drop, between 20 and 30% on red grapes and 10% on white grapes due to Peronospora. However, the winery is expecting some really interesting wines: September has favored an excellent ripening of the grapes, which are giving truly magnificent colors and aromas to the musts in fermentation.
