It’s official: Tenute Sella winery is an integral part of our portfolio.
Since 1671, the Sella family has been cultivating Nebbiolo in Alto Piemonte. From the original textile business, which has its roots in the late 1500s, to the foundation of the Banca Sella in 1886, over a century ago. In between, from 1671, the commitment in the wine sector, with the first grafting of vines in the fantastic territory of Lessona. Over the generations, the company expanded into what are now the areas of Bramaterra and Coste della Sesia, exceptional lands where the Sella family’s winemaking work continues to this day, always synonymous with taste, quality, elegance and tradition.
Today, the company consists of three estates and follows a winemaking style inspired and guided by a principle of classicism. Tradition, never an end in itself, allows the wines to express themselves naturally, without oenological forcing. The winery is characterised by an approach to environmental sustainability, which translates into soil conservation, integrated viticulture and the protection of biodiversity.
We are sure that this collaboration will bring great satisfaction and excellent results.
