This year’s harvest in Saraja began at the end of August, on the 29th to be precise, ten days earlier than average, due to thermal accumulation. The harvest campaign began with the picking of the white grapes, followed around 10 September with the Cannonau and finally, the following week, with the Carignano.
The vineyards did not suffer any stress, not even on the basal leaves. The vines are doing very well, they have had an optimal yield with respect to the expected level of quality. The alcohol level is very good and there is a slightly higher level of acidity than in the previous vintage.
As the fourth harvest for the vineyard in Telti (Gallura), the company already knows which vineyard will be used to produce TARRA NOA, which one for KINTARI and which vineyard (higher up) to produce KRAMORI.
Saraja is extremely satisfied with this harvest campaign, both in terms of quantity and quality.
