A new winery has joined our portfolio.
It is official: the Franciacorta winery, Santa Lucia, is an integral part of our portfolio.
The Santa Lucia winery is a small paradise where nature and architecture are integrated with great balance, in the classic tradition of the Franciacorta region.
The production site is located in Erbusco, in the architectural complex around Palazzo Longhi, built in the 17th century on a structure dating back to the 14th century.
The pride and joy of the Santa Lucia winery are the vineyards: 30 hectares spread out between Erbusco, the heart of the wine-growing region, Rodengo Saiano, Capriolo, Passirano and Rovato; among these are some ‘jewel vineyards’, among the very few in Franciacorta to be framed by stone walls.
Here, nature is particularly generous and expresses itself above all in the fineness of the aromas and elegance of the product thanks to the characteristics of its terroir and a particularly favourable microclimate.
The company was founded in the late 1990s from the experience gained in research and consultancy in the wine sector by Pierluigi Villa, his wife Ardenia and their two sons Gregorio and Maurizio.
The Azienda Agricola Santa Lucia is run according to organic farming methods and 2014 was the first certified harvest. Organic management ensures respect for the environment and encourages the expression of the synergies already present in nature by respecting its slow pace and best choices. This leads to the production of elegant, balanced wines to share with friends and to rediscover the bond with the land.
We are confident that this collaboration will bring great satisfaction and excellent results.
