The Montevetrano harvest began regularly on the 20th of September with the Merlot; this was followed by the Cabernet Sauvignon and ended with Aglianico.
The climatic changes of recent years have accustomed the company to managing the vines and the soil in a more careful and reasoned manner in order to keep the state of the vineyards under control.
The dry summer was therefore dealt with by working the soil to maintain humidity and with good management of the greenery Montevetrano managed to protect the grapes. Since mid-August, the intense heat has been tempered by small coolings that have avoided water stress on the plants. In addition, the good temperature range between day and night, guaranteed by the proximity of the Picentini Mountains, has contributed positively to the quality and aroma of the grapes.
Montevetrano managed to bring healthy grapes with the right ripeness to the cellar; a good vintage is expected in the bottle.
