LUCA MARONI HAS AWARDED VIVALDI

The Valpolicella winery received an excellent score from Luca Maroni.

In one of the last tastings of the well-known wine critic, Luca Maroni, the Valpolicella winery, Vivaldi, was awarded with an excellent score: the Valpolicella Ripasso Classico doc 2019 wine received 91 points.

This Valpolicella Ripasso comes from grapes grown in the Valpolicella Classica: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. Its style emphasizes the most typical and traditional profile of Valpolicella: the well-distributed texture of the structure and the harmony between the aromatic, olfactory and gustatory sensations, create an unmistakable style of sobriety and elegance. All the grapes are harvested manually from September to October; then their withering takes place for about 120 days. This wine is made with the traditional “Ripasso method”.

Vivaldi’s Valpolicella Ripasso Classico has an intense red color and an incredibly persistent and fruity aroma with hints of raspberry and slightly dried plums. On the palate it is excellent and full-bodied; intense with notes of ripe plum. A super balanced wine that gives velvety tannins and a really long and soft aftertaste.
