A great performance of Mottura wines at Mundus Vini 2021.
During the Spring Tasting of Mundus Vini 2021, Mottura obtained two gold medals: one for Villa Mottura Primitivo di Manduria 2019 and one for Rosone Negroamaro del Salento IGT 2019.
Villa Mottura Primitivo di Manduria is a ruby-colored wine, obtained exclusively from Primitivo grapes, a vine of ancient Mediterranean origins. The harvest is strictly carried out by hand, with the greatest care and attention possible. The fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, while the maturation in French oak barrels for 6-8 months.
Rosone Negroamaro del Salento is a wine of an intense ruby-red color of remote production, the crops are located in the southern area of Puglia. The grapes were harvested by hand in mid-September. The wine has an almond aftertaste with notes of ripe red fruits and plum.
