CONCOURS MONDIAL DE BRUXELLES AWARDED BOVE

The Abruzzo winery has achieved an excellent result for one of its wines.

In recent days the Abruzzo winery Bove has achieved an excellent score for one of its wines: Concours Mondial de Bruxelles awarded the gold medal to Fiori Chiari Cerasuolo Dop 2021.

The Bove winery, one of the oldest in Abruzzo, was founded in 1930 with an area of 30 hectares. Since 1960, the winery has undergone constant renovations and now has a modern, high-tech bottling plant. However, the careful selection of the grapes and the respect for local traditions remain unchanged.

Fiori Chiari Cerasuolo is one of the most important products of the Bove company and is made from Montepulciano grapes. This wine has a bright cherry pink colour and a fruity bouquet with notes of raspberry, pomegranate and cherry, and floral hints of geranium and carnation. A delicately spicy undertone can also be perceived on the nose. On the palate it is fresh and savoury, usually balanced and fairly persistent, with a mineral finish. At times it offers floral hints and a finely almondy note.
