Cascina Chicco’s harvest began on the 20th of August with the picking of the sparkling bases (Nebbiolo). Due to the high temperatures and lack of water, the harvest started early. The quality was excellent for all the grapes. The harvest of Nebbiolo from Barolo and Barbaresco has just finished. What is expected is that the quality of the grapes will be reflected in the glass. For some, like the Nebbiolo, it is still too early to say, but the winery is certainly very optimistic and hopeful.
