The prestigious Piedmontese winery has received an excellent score for one of its wines.
The well-known Gilbert & Gaillard competition has given an excellent score to a wine from the Piedmontese winery Broglia: 91 points to Bruno Broglia Gavi del Comune di Gavi 2018.
Bruno Broglia Gavi del Comune di Gavi is one of the most representative products of the entire appellation and bears the name of the winery’s founder on the label. Bruno Broglia has decided to continue over time a tradition over a thousand years old that, today, is carried on with commitment and passion by his sons Gian Piero and Paolo. Bruno Broglia’s Gavi di Gavi is the flagship product of the company located in Località Lomellina; a wine that comes from vines located at 300-350 metres, exposed to the south, on a calcareous-marly soil.
It is a Gavi vinified entirely in stainless steel which presents itself in the glass with a beautiful aromatic richness; a fine bouquet of white and yellow pulp fruit which gives us a remarkable persistence. In the mouth the fruity notes, with ripe apple dominating and standing out, are accompanied by a chalky minerality that shows itself untamed with a savoury finish that surprises.
