The famous winery of Avio has just put on the market the new vintage.
Tenuta San Leonardo, historical winery of Guerrieri Gonzaga family, has just put on the market the new vintage of its famous wine: San Leonardo 2016.
“Wine symbol of the estate, it has its roots in its millenary history. A classic Bordeaux cut of aristocratic elegance and extraordinary longevity“.
A red wine, made up of different types of grape varieties: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in small concrete tanks for about 15/18 days with various daily pumping over and delestage. The refinement, on the other hand, lasts 24 months in first, second and third passage French oak barriques, before refinement in the bottle for a further 12 months.
