The well-known Lombard winery received an excellent score in the Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2022.
Recently, the Lombard Castello di Cigognola winery, located in the Oltrepò Pavese, was included in Doctor Wine’s Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2022: Moratti Cuvèe dell’Angelo wine scored 97 points.
Moratti Cuvée dell’Angelo Pas Dosé comes from the selection of some of the best Pinot Noir vineyards on the north-west side of the Cigognola hill. It is a Pas Dosé wine: the possible addition of sugar after disgorging. It has great elegance and a fine perlage, favored by the ripening of the grapes. It is persistent and expresses both the nose and the taste the rightly ripe expression of the fruit: well balanced between fullness and freshness.
