The prestigious winery of the Abbona family has acquired several hectares of land in recent months.
“Marchesi di Barolo, now led by the Abbona family, has acquired more than 8 hectares of land in the Cru Perno area, of which 3 hectares are planted with vines in Barolo, in a single body (a rarity), in Monforte d’Alba, and more than half a hectare that will be destined for Langhe Nebbiolo”.
In addition to these, the prestigious Piedmontese winery has also invested in Monferrato, purchasing more than 9 hectares in Agliano and adding to its previous investments by acquiring other hectares in the same district, a flagship for Barbera production.
Thanks to all these investments, today the Abbona family boasts 105 hectares of vineyards in the Roero, Langhe and Monferrato; magical places whose history and beauty have made them a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
